I rented an apartment from the in January of 2024 in Kingsport. Paid the fees for the background checks and first month rent and deposit .. which was around $2,500. Stayed there 3 nights before we realized it was ROACH infested. Called my agent the next morning asking for my money back and she was extremely rude , stating I must’ve brought the roaches with me. Continues to tell me I’m responsible for the full years rent according to the lease. 2 years later , they’ve turned me over to collections for $3,000.00. What a JOKE.
All I got to say is if they give you a hard time which they will, give them a harder one back. They charged us $125 for a trash fee when people here everyday leave trash out. So I reported the people leaving their trash out as well and I know they didn’t get charged because I talked with the neighbors myself and they still continue to put trash out. They will charge you over anything, very petty. Thirsty for money. Be careful if you already live here and don’t move here if you haven’t already leased here.
