Tried ringing at the first of the month at the earliest possible time and I had over two hundred failed attempts to connect dental surgeries have become a joke the government sold of half of the nhs dentist during covid and it's in an absolute shambles
I went last year as an emergency as I was suffering from toothache for weeks finally I built up the courage to go I need sedation as I am really nervous after a bad experience with another dentist, the dentist said she would do sedation and if necessary knock me out completely I am on guaranteed Pension Credit so no.problem paying the fee's she had me down theatre at University hospital Durham for 3 hours I had a complex case as the roots of 2 back teeth were going in opposite directions after I came home the fillings droppe... read more

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have watched it gradually go down hill. I have had so many different dentists. The last one farmed me out to another dentist as he was no longer seeing NHS patients I am half way through a procedure the NHS dentist has left and I have been left high and dry. I was told to call back first thing in the morning to get an appointment I was then told I couldn't have one because I wasn't in pain.
