Delicious pizza! Home brewed root beer... yummy! – Tasty pizza... The home brewed root beer was delicious. It was a pleasant experience. We didn't have any wait when we went. There are plenty of college students on staff waiting to take care of you. I was surprised at the size of the restaurant. It's huge! It's a little confusing walking around in there, but it's got a good atmosphere. It's definitely more of the kind of place you go to hang out with friends... not really ideal for that romantic date.
Family friendly Fun environment. Family friendly. Good pizza & buffet. Wide selection of pizza, lots of variety. Try the many different flavors of lemonade & order the cheesebread.
Great Pizza, if you have the time & patience Brick Oven tends to be the designated family get-together restaurant. Therefore it is ALWAYS busy, & quite loud. But the food is wonderful if you don't mind waiting for hours & listening to kids scream!
Good experience/bad experience I love the food here. The pasta and salad buffet is always fresh and delicious. The wait is always long, it being a very popular place. The waitress made one large mistake, I asked her to check on the ingredients in the dessert and tell me if there were tree nuts- I'm very allergic. She came back and told me there were no nuts. Well, 10 minutes later my tongue is swelling. She then came back and said that there indeed were nuts in the dessert. I had to go home and down a lot of benedryl -we did... read more
Messed up orders! I am thoroughly ticked off at Brick Oven in Provo. Their catering department completely messed up an order for a large business function we had today. It was horribly embarrassing in front of our clients who we had promised lunch to. Normally, I'm pretty forgiving on little mess ups.. I mean, we're all human. But this was horrendous. They gave us extra of things we didn't order, and left out things we did. We were overcharged, and they were 40 minutes late. When called on it, neither the driver nor the cate... read more
Best Pizza ever . . . in Provo – Bar far the best pizza place in Provo. If you are forced to be in Provo, and need a good place, this is it. Just remember that 'Happiness is seeing Provo in your rear-view mirror'. Nice atmosphere. Gourmet style pizzas. The basic pizzas are, well, basic and relatively expensive. But the specialty pizzas are worth the wait and BYU crowds. I recommend going.
Don't go for just the pizza – True, the Brick Oven is a great get together spot. My mother-in-law worked there 25+ years ago, so it has some nostalgic value. But, as far as really good pizza is concerned it's only so-so. The dough is average, the toppings are average, the cheese is average... you get the idea. And, on top of the "averageness" of the pizza, its just too expensive. So, if someone else is buying... enjoy; otherwise it's not worth it.
Still my favorite place to eat! I have always enjoyed italian food...especially when it is made really well. Brick Oven is top notch at making pizzas and pastas come alive with flavor. I can't get enough of it. I recommend going there to everyone I know. Plus it is very reasonable and the atmosphere is incredible.
37 YEARS – 37 years ago I was introduced to "Heaps of Pizza" as it was then known. I'm happy to report that my family and I STILL make it a point to enjoy a meal at the "Brick Oven" whenever we are able to visit Utah. The Pasta Bar (multiple pastas and sauces from which to choose, and cooked to order piping hot) and the well-stocked Salad Bar are definate standouts. The Pizza is delicious, and ranks right up there close to the top (reserved of course for N.Y.C. - the Valhalla of Pizzadom.) It's a great place to take your fam... read more
