Pizza is my thang!! i l luvvvv pizza!! I’ve been gluten freed the last 20 years and I’m pleased to say the best gluten-free pizza is right here in Austin,Texas at the Brick Oven on 35th st. I think it’s better than the regular crust……….seriously their gluten free crust is the best ever!!!’
First time here. Chipotle pasta was great, but they don't keep parmesan cheese on the table! Eggplant parmesan was disappointing. Two skinny pieces of eggplant over spaghetti and uninspired red sauce is a poor value for the price. I could understand the skimpy portion if it were expensive veal--but cheap eggplant?? Olive garden is a better value, and you don't pay extra to substitute soup for the salad either

Yummmm! – I recently moved here from the Northeast and I have been disappointed with the selection of Italian food and Pizza in Texas! I'm not surprised it is hard to find but I LOVE italian. So I was very pleased when I tried Brick Oven Restaurant! The sauce is excellent, which is necessary for a great pizza, and the crust is crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Awesome! Great place for before or after basket ball or football games. Good Italian food at reasonable prices. Its clean, the staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere for family dining. I thought the food was great including the pizza, chicken, salads, calzones.
No more Eggplant Parmesan – I was IN LOVE with Brick Oven on 35th's Eggplant Parmesan, my favorite dish, but they recently took it off the menu. Still a quality restaurant, but now I'm searching for my new favorite item on their menu. UPDATED 6/9/08 The Eggplant Parmesan is back!
I love this place. It is small and cozy. Great for a nice dinner for two or lunch with a co-worker. The bread is awesome. The brick oven taste. Everything always comes out hot at once. The service is good and there is always room in the cozy home atmosphere.
