Great Dinner We have our dinner here in Brick NYC. The food was great and it taste delicious. The place was clean and fresh. Had fun in our dinner.
Worst Venue - Manager is really rude. – Bought tickets for an event here and asked for a refund because the event was not confirmed and the scheduling managers for the artist confirmed that he would be in another city. Dan J, Tamayo, the manager, offered me a chance to prove himself as a good promoter, and come see the show and receive the bill afterward. I was happy with this until the day of the show arrives and I receive a call from the manager himself, telling me off and letting me know I was not welcome at the show. I b... read more
Will be back! – Came in for dinner tonight - and was definitely a delight. Was surprised this neighborhood place has been here for 3 years and this is my first time there. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the zucchini chips to start which are absolutely amazing - I definitely recommend them. For my entree I had the house made gnocchi stuffed with fresh ricotta. Seriously the best gnocchi I have had in a long time. I was way to full for dessert, but we finished a bottle of wine as well. The menu was pretty extensive, a... read more
Closed for a week by the Health Department – I will admit the the food was pretty good on my first visit. But I came back with a client for lunch the following week and saw that the place was closed by the NY Health Department. That was not a good look, as my client was Italian. I would like to know exactly why was the place closed for a week by the Health Department. Is this public information?
Great place for Sunday football – I was just watching the game here and we had a great time. Really good, friendly vibe, and they actually draw a fair share of Jets fans. Pizza was excellent, chicken parm was some of the best I've had. I've been to this place during the week, didn't know they had this going on during weekends, very impressed.
Hot spot! – Found a new hot spot in the area. They actually have a lot going on here. We had dinner and then went downstairs to the lounge area. There's a full bar there, music, everything you need for a great party. Nice vine in this place, and the food, might I add, was great. I had the pizza, and my friends had pasta dishes and were impressed.
Fresh and Delicious! Finally a good post-work hang out spot – My coworker convinced me to try this place. The décor is really unusual and classy, so it definitely does not feel like “just a pizza place,” which is what I initially suspected. We hung out at the bar in the front while we waited for a friend--they have some great beer choices and an enormous wine bottle cellar with an unlimited selection at good prices. The service was not awfully quick, but it was very efficient, and our waiter was very friendly and gave a few ... read more
Slow service and not so good food – The pizza had barely any cheese which made it taste like sauce bread. The sauce wasn't that great on the pizza either. The Lobster ravioli had a weird sweet tangy sauce which way overpowered the ravioli. The tomato's in the sauce didn't taste good. What little you could actually taste of the filling of the ravioli just tasted like cheese. The bread on the table tasted stale. The Hot Calamari appetizer had a good flavor, but the actual calamari was reaaallyyy chewy and large so it was hard ... read more
A Rare Find!!!! – If you are lucky enough to be in the area this is the place to be. it is mildly understated from the outside but once threw the door Brick instantly takes you in> the atmosphere is as alluring as it is inviting. The bar was great to have a drink at , a uniique wine list and a staff that knew their stuff. Then on to dinner which was amazing in a very surprising manner. Honestly this place has an unbeatable combination of all things that matter>> great food great wine great atmosphere and a staff that went ab... read more
