I've been a patient here for over 15 years, and each year it seems harder to get an appointment. Having to go through a nurse assessment for routine visits is frustrating, and when I called to schedule my annual Pap test, I was offered a virtual appointment. I declined because that isn't appropriate for the care I was seeking. The biggest issue is the lack of access to my own doctor. My primary care has been here for many years. I love Michigan. Sad to say the main doctor changed and I was assign Rudy He refuses to help with basic service needs, i.e. what is the cost to get a test to confirm my blood type? He's passed me off to 'the team'. After a few weeks of the run around, I directly asked Rudy for a helping hand. He flat out refused to pick the phone, text billing, etc. for an answe. If you want a doctor to not care about you, choose Rudy at Briarwood Family Medicine.
