It’s a alright facility. The food was okay, some staff were very young and rude, but mostly people just smoked cigarettes outside and had 2 AA meetings a day. I’ve been clean for five years now thanks to my outpatient program with Nova Recovery. But there’s something that has never sat right with me about that place for all these years and I have to share it because the person I am sharing about was in a position of readership and power who did that. I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context.
