I was invited to a luncheon held here. The house and it's history are stunning. Home to Varina Howell Davis. The Newman's are very gracious hostesses.

Absolute worst hotel I think we have ever stayed in! Cheap for $94/night so I guess we shouldn’t have expected much. We came to see family and being that both nephews have recently added babies to their families, we chose to stay in a hotel as to not burden them. We arrive at the hotel and we’re told that the pool, restaurant, and bar are closed (none of this information was told to us before arrival).
