I highly recommend Briar Rose for wedding cakes. We had both the groom's cake and the wedding cake delivered sstraight to the Inn at Carnall Hall. We also ordered a couple sheet cakes of the same flavors to have for easier cutting. Both were delicious and I am still after almost 2 weeks having people ask me who made the cakes. They were moist, delicious and beautiful. Would order them again if I had another wedding!!
I had the lemon chicken salad on a croissant with brocolli and cheese soup. And of Course for dessert--red velvet cake.
We've been to Briar Rose quite a few times now, and each time it is so overwhelmingly busy - especially the line to order - that it leaves the whole experience with a bit of a blemish. Having said that though... Are their food good? Its great. Are their treats good? Absolutely, the best!
My bestie took me here Saturday for my Birthday and bought me chocolate chip cheesecake and let me tell you it was a very tasty gift!!! And the staff was very friendly!!! Love this place <3
Come hungry! We went for the first time on Parents Weekend! It was packed but the line moved very quickly. The food was nothing short of amazing! Cinnamon rolls are a must order!
Excellent bakery... please serve breakfast until noon or 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
