Dr Shimkus has been fundamental on my diagnosis and treatment. He doesn’t read my numbers just as a range, instead he looks at my whole condition with symptoms and incidents related to a bleeding disorder. I appreciate his expertise with these unfortunate conditions that we have to endure and that ultimately in other hands you are at risk if only numbers and ranges are considered. I gave 4 starts because communication with appointments and nurses is a bit difficult.
Dr. Shimkus and his staff are very professional, yet caring. They ask questions then actually listen. Very refreshing to feel like you are important to them not just someone to rush out so they can get to the next patient.
