This was the first dentist I've been to where I actually trust everyone. It's such a relief after looking around for so long. I came from a different dentist across the street. They had recommended root canals on two upper teeth, and were charging for pricey add-on procedures not covered by insurance. I went to Dr Shimizu for a second opinion, who not only did not bill for unnecessary procedures, but tried to save the root canal procedure for both teeth, and successfully saved one!
