We have been one of southern Rhode Island's most active and trusted pediatric dentists for over twenty years. As pediatric dentists we have completed an additional two years of specialized pediatric training that gives us the privilege to call ourselves pediatric dentists.

Great Office! Great office and friendly staff! Individualized attention and professional care given to all the kids. Very thorough and helpful throughout the entire appointment from scheduling to treatment...and a fun waiting room, too!

They were up to date, had a very clean office, and child friendly waiting room with a video game console which impressed my child and distracted him from being nervous. Once we met the staff the hygienists and doctor could not have been nicer. I would highly recommend Children's Dentistry of Westerly for anyone loooking for a top notch office for your children.
great office and video games, too I have gone to them for many years with my children. Very happy with all care received. They make every effort make each visit as pleasant as possible. and my kids love the video games in the waiting room.
Great work We've been to Westerly Smile three or four times for some fairly serious work on our young daughter. We actually felt a little guilty about how much we had neglected her teeth (you could see several very large cavities). We were never made to feel ashamed or embarrassed by either Dr. Shannon or Dr. Capalbo - in fact just the opposite - they were very understanding. deeply saddened Dr. Shannon is a horrible dentist. Not only is he and his associate Dr. Anna Capalbo condescending but they do work on children that they don't actually need. The front desk staff was wonderful, but once you enter one of their exam rooms it's awful. Dr. Shannon was horrible with my child and when we left his face was covered in red marks from the pressure that he applied while trying to work on my child. My child and I were traumatized. The best! We did a lot of searching to find an actual Children's Dentistry, we actually travelled almost an hour to get there and it was all worth it! This is a wonderful child Dentist! They have all kinds of distractions to keep the kids busy. Very fast bust still thorough with my disapproving 2 year old. :-) We even got "My first Dentist Appointment" pictures taken and they sent them to us. My 4 year old actually enjoyed herself and really loved the staff. They will be very hard to replace when we move.
great job Dr shannon is a childrens dentist. He and his pal Chompers vbisits all the local schools at least once a year. He is very gentle and patient with the children. His staff is excellent and very patient also. It is a little hard to get an appointment so I always do my children for the whole year.
