I am sad to say my knee replacement went terribly wrong. I have had other surgeries with Dr. Delay and couldn’t praise him more. This time he implanted a press fit device which I have read is not the best choice for a 68 year old who is not very physically active. Unfortunately the replacement came loose as confirmed by a CT scan. I went back to Dr Delay to tell him about the long lasting pain and he basically said the xray looked great and I was fine. Great experience. Answers questions promptly. Listens to you and doesn't make you feel rushed.
My right total knee was a complete success. Looking at my 6 week follow-up xrays, the placement of the implants are in a perfect alignment, and I have nearly full range of motion. I felt very comfortable with Dr DeLay as my surgeon. As a retired Emergency Department RN I would recommend his care.
