Exactly what the other not-so-hot review said. Good technically but abrupt, felt rushed, didn't get questions answered. Came out feeling like something processed through a factory.
My husband was referred to Dr Connolly during an eye exam at the eye doctor. He had emergency surgery the following day for a detached retina in his right eye. Dr Connolly was pleasant, calm and extremely through with explananing the cause and procedure of the surgery. We felt confident that it would be successful and it was! Doctor Connolly saved my eyesight after 2 tares on my left Retna.. I had the PLEASURE of having him treat me at Wills Eye hospital in Philadelphia. That was 15 years ago ,, in the course of a year ,, He did EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to restore my sight ,,and Keep it !!!! Doctor Connolly was helpful with our retina condition but was a bit short with us as we were trying understand the status. We are not retina specialist but are educated and were insulted by his abrupt way of explaining a serious condition and what appeared to be anger as we pressed for clarification maybe because he was behind on appointments that day. In the end we did receive the information we requested and did get the care required but with his attitude it was very stressful.
