I met Dr. Katz for the first time today after having some bad experiences with my previous gastroenterologist. He sat and reviewed my colonoscopy and endoscopy with me right there in the room. He took a thorough history. Discussed everything with me in great detail. He had amazing insight, patient and kind. I learned more in that one visit than the previous five years with my other doctor. I did have to wait a couple weeks to get to see him. But it was well worth it. I highly recommend him!!!
Dr. Katz is an amazing doctor. My elderly mother came to see him with nausea and some other gastrointestinal symptoms. He immediately realized that the problem is not related to her GI tract and sent her for the brain imaging which revealed a huge brain tumor. Now, most gastroenterologists would do like 100 different tests to cover their ass. In contrast, Dr. Katz made the right diagnosis, which probably saved my mother's life.
