BGD customer service was excellent. We purchased our diamond and setting approximately 6 years ago and at the time accepted the diamond rating without getting it independently appraised, in hindsight this was a mistake as recently we had to have it appraised and after the first appraisal came back lower grade, both colour and clarity than what we bought it at we had it appraised again with another expert who graded it identically to the first we had done. All our diamonds are graded by the AGS (American Gem Society), which is a highly respected diamond-grading laboratory.
