I am writing with profound grief, frustration, and a need for formal accountability regarding the events of February 28, 2023—when my mother died during a procedure performed under the direction of Dr. Maloney- GI Associates and Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital. I was her Power of Attorney (POA) and had issued clear instructions that no procedures requiring sedation be performed without prior consultation with her cardiologist. ONE STAR IS NOT DESERVED. Wonderful staff! I had a colonoscopy without sedation by Dr Moloney and he and all of the staff were so comforting. Dr Moloney was quite the comedian and explained everything that was going on, plus I got to watch it live on a screen. Very interesting!
Just had my first meeting with the doctor and I was very impressed. He took time to review my history prior to meeting. We discussed my history and gave me options on how to proceed. He took time explaining everything and made sure I had no questions. I am very pleased with his approach.
