I waited an hour to bee seen. Then another 15 minutes in the room. Dr Mercer sat at his computer for another five to ten minutes typing and not speaking to me. Then he told me I was a candidate for surgery (of course) and that i was going to need a complete cervical fusion later on in life. Saw doctor for back pain didnt feel listened too sent for physical therapy didn't work went back didn't even see doctor saw a nurse practionier or something containing to have pain awful doctor who doesn't take concerns seriously and nurse was awful also
My 87 year old grandmother fractured her spine 1.5 months ago. She had an MRI and the office required that she come in for the results rather than hear them over the phone even though we explained it’s quite difficult for her to leave the house and sit in the wheelchair for extended periods. I am very thankful for Dr. Mercer who got to my nerve in time and saved the usage of my left foot and leg. If it weren’t for him returning my call that Friday in April 2024, and getting me in for emergency surgery the following Sunday , I would be telling a very different story. I am now 3 months post op from L4 and L5 surgery , and recovering well. I have a review on Healthgrades thats more specific but this guy is awful. Keep in mind im in great shape i work out every day of my life...im not some crotchety person who gets off on writing bad reviews. It boils down to he doesnt care, uninterested, arrogant, insulting primarily due to the fact that hes even a doctor. Im doing you a service by writing this and youre doing you and your body a disservice by seeing him for anything other than using the bathroom in his office. Bye!
