I have been a client of Brex Arlington for more than 15 years. They installed my Carrier furnace, and I signed an agreement with them each year to service my furnaces. In December 2024, they completed my annual service and within one month of the service, I smelled gas at which time they returned to say that my heat exchanger had failed and quoted me an extraordinarily high price on a new furnace ($3000 more than two other quotes I received for similar furnace). I have used Brex-Arlington exclusively for my HVAC needs for the past 28 years and have never been disappointed. I have purchased their Premium service contract for a long time, and it paid off on three visits within the past four years. (1) My compressor-fan failed in the middle of a Saturday night in May 2021. I called their answering service and received a call-back from Ray - at 1:30am! Had tech come in middle of night to look at broken furnace. He was great and diagnosed the problem promptly. Needed a part replaced and was told shop would call the next day to schedule and quote cost for repair. They called the next day with a quote over $750 to replace. I found the part online for $115 and after a few minutes of researching online, was able to figure out how to replace it on my own in about 3 minutes.
