Don't go to this place. The staff is extremely rude. My wife wanted to use the toilet so we went in. I bought a beer so that we wouldn't be taking the piss. However when my wife went to use the toilet, the staff was refusing it to her. I had to intervene indicating them I had just buy a beer. After a moment of doubt and reluctantly the staff allowed her to go to the toilet. The tone and the attitude was bewildering. Such a bad experience.
My husband was a paying customer ordering drinks here, but when I politely asked to use the toilet, I was initially refused by an older member of staff who claimed it was for customers only. I was eventually allowed to use it, but the rude attitude made me feel completely unwelcome.
Very disappointing experience. Went into the shop to work on a project on my laptop, only to be rudely told AFTER paying for my coffee that laptops were not allowed to be used. There is a tiny sign that you would not even think to look at stating this next to the bar. I would understand if the place was packed but I was the only person in the place. So instead of making the place look somewhat busy, they would rather it be dead? Policy does not appear to serve any purpose bar obtaining bad reviews.
Not the friendliest vibes from the staff, came in to work and bought a coffee. When they asked if I would be ordering anything else and I said that I was all set, a minute later I noticed had WiFi had been shut off. Feel like there could have been better communication there. WiFi connection also wasn’t so great to begin with. I asked the staff if they shut off the WiFi because I said I wasn’t ordering and he said “there’s a limit it shuts off automatically” so could have just been off timing there.
