Dr. Hronek went above and beyond with my dad. He noticed a problem that needed addressed by a specialist and got us a same day appointment with the specialist he needed. We are very appreciative of the effort and care he took.
I have been seeing Dr. Hronek well over 4 years now for asthma treatment. He is polite and gets straight to the point. He knows his medications well and I am very confident in what he prescribes for me. He uses other medical tests when needed too assist in diagnosis and treatment I'm an emotional person at times, but I don't feel he lets that get in the way of seeing me for the human that I am, plus he's still says the hard things that need to be said. Dr Hronek was patient and listened. He helped me figure out my Alpha Gal allergy, and noticed I had symptoms of other allergies as well. He tested me for several things then and there. Then made sure I was prescribed the proper medication and given a battle plan for when my allergies got bad.
Dismissive. Went with valid concerns for my child after several reactions. Was forwarded by pediatrician and one reaction happened on office. He shrugged and said he was not worried about any of it because one challenge came back fine. Just poor bedside manner. If a patient and or their parent has concerns, those are valid. I can think of several different ways to express what he meant without invalidating the parent and essentially showing you don't care.
