My grandchild is a preemie and has had a feeding tube since birth. He went to the doctor today because he vomited some blood on top of poor oral feeding and being on meds for his stomach. Without asking any questions or even looking at the picture of the blood he said it’s fine and just see if he does it again. Seriously? Not even a finger stick hemoglobin. He gets two stars because he did graduate from medical school and pass boards. But he need more education.
He was very condescending and arrogant. He was curt and rude when addressing my questions and concerns. He made us all feel uncomfortable. Our 11 year old even picked up on how he was acting towards me (who is a concerned & proactive parent, advocating for my children’s care that they are receiving and we are paying for). This is the 2nd time we’ve had to see him because Alpine Peds won’t allow you make sick appointments with your primary care doctor that same day. So this was out of necessity, not by choice. Dr. Knorr took his time and was great with my 2 girls, we all felt very comfortable.
Dr. Knorr is awesome! Our family has been going to him for several years now. My son has severe asthma and mild adhd. We choose not to medicate him for the adhd and use alternative methods. Dr. Knorr is one of few I've met that will not pressure us to use medication and respects our decision. He provides very helpful feedback and does an excellent job monitoring and medicating his asthma needs as well. My kids love going in for their visits and it's always a clean and friendly environment.
