After my mother passed away and the body was taken to Brett Funeral Home I tried to get the jewelry back that was on my mother‘s body, and they said after a thorough check no jewelry was found, but I bust them when the medical examiner showed proof of the pictures that the jewelry was on my mother’s body, I reported them to the lightning bureau of investigations and called the police

Husband died 8/25/25. I have had financial problems paying in full. Brett has been compassionate and understanding while I get my life in order. Always kind!

I was at the point of no direction and utter fear after losing my father suddenly this past October. Honestly not knowing the first step in what to do, and my late father not having any final wishes or finances to make things simplified, I was at a complete loss. Funeral director Joe complained about all the black people in the neighborhood. At a later meeting, funeral director Al offered me a chair that literally fell apart as I sat down, almost sending me to the floor, then tried to laugh it off. Avoid like the plague.
