So I wanted to share my experience with Bret Rideout. He pretty much pulled all his guys from the job before it was done and forced me to pay 8,000. 00 more than agreed on contract to finish the job or he was walking away from the project and he would put a lien on my house for the money he claimed he was owed even though he had already been paid for the whole job. **** DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RIDEOUT REPAIRS **** They are a crook, do not know what they are doing and my friend's $50,000 porch rennovation project has been a disaster for the past 2+years!!! I would not recommend Bret Rideout & Repairs at all. Their staff & schedule were not dependable and workmanship was extremely poor and did not meet a customer's expectation. I hate to post negative reviews but I feel that it's necessary to protect the public. Bret and his crew did a TERRIBLE job on my cabinets. Although he admitted it was shoddy work, took way longer than he said it would, and promised to "makeit right" he stopped returning calls and texts. I came very close to filing a civil suit but decided to just cut my losses because I don't have time to mess with it. Just stay away.
