Two years ago it turned out that I had a damaged knee meniscus and had to be operated on. I came to doctor Powers who, after a thorough diagnosis, performed an arthroscopy of my knee. Initially, I had problems returning to normal function, but I gave myself time and after 6 months everything was back to normal. I work in the garden, install pavers and play pin-pong with my family. Dr. Power is absolutely AMAZING. An mri showed that my 18 yr old son had a torn Meniscus, but with a very throughout exam from Dr. Powers, he proved the MRI very very wrong. My son was diagnosed with a odd condition that only 50% of the population have. Surgery was performed January 2020 (yes it sucked not to be with my son during recovery because of covid restrictions). All post op appts by Dr. Powers were excellent. However, a nurse forgot to remove one stitch from my son's knee. And front desk staff gave me a hard time go... read more
