I had my lower back fused in four different places. Dr. Dirks and his staff were excellent with scheduling and explaining all of my options. I decided on surgery and really was not that optimistic, hoping for maybe 30% improvement. Prior to surgery I could not stand for more than a couple of minutes, could not carry anything of weight or even vacuum my floors without being in terrible pain. Six months post surgery I am 100% pain free, 100% mobility. If you want results you want Dr. Dirks.
