A year ago this week, I was sent to Brentwood Springs after being taken to St. Vincent ER. I went to the hospital because I was being abused and needed help and safety. I am not a minor, but staff called my parents without my permission. That alone made me feel unsafe and powerless at a time when I needed confidentiality and support. Sometimes I struggle with my addiction when I do I know that going to Brentwood is the best place for me The staff is awesome there's never any kind of wait time it's exactly what I need when I slip up
Giving 3 stars because the rampant abuse at the other places is not as commonplace here but it still, like most mental healthcare hospitals, is focused on the money and getting as much from you as they can instead of getting you help. They squeezed as much out of my insurance as they could and I know I never really got any help there. If anything, it kept me from healing. I’m giving one star because what I could see the place look clean and the lady was nice when I took my son some clothes. But that’s the only reason. I know there are laws in place to protect your patients and I understand that not all ppl have the best intrest in said ppl. Over a year past service and they try to take advantage financially! They reduced the provider adjustment amount, on my invoice, they want another payment. So the statements need turned over to a attorney. They even turned me over to collections for the amount my insurance covered. Not to mention the services were not good.
