My three children have been patients for the past 15 years. My youngest had a hive reaction to Amoxicillin and this has been documented in her chart. Despite this information she was put on Amoxicillin. One week later she developed hives and I requested she be put on a different antibiotic for the last three days of her pills. We sure miss Dr. B! Had to wait quit the time for the “new” doctor and medical assistant was not welcoming at all. No friendly, warm or inviting interaction that makes you want to come back. When asking (MA) which pharmacy do you prefer maybe specify which “brand” and location, so when the patient replies “CVS” your response isn’t “where” with attitude; however which location works best.

I am disgusted by their admin procedures but honestly not surprised. It is very evident that their only motive is revenue. Called to establish my son as a new patient and none of their communication was centered around his healthcare needs. Alas, the conversation ended with them saying THEY would call ME "if they saw a reason for him to have an appt". Excuse me?! Is this really the world we live in? I guess this is what happens when healthcare becomes “for profit”.
