I was a patient at Brentwood. I was not provided one minute of individual counseling during my five day stay. Not one single word was said to me about my condition. My psychiatrist was nothing but a pill pusher. 3 minutes max with Dr. Gestapo. A psychiatrist friend was recently courted by Brentwood and he confirmed that the patient load there was too large to provide appropriate care so he declined. And guess what! I’ve been to Brentwood 4 times over the past several years. Just when I thought this place couldn’t get worse, it does. It is like being in hell! You’re paying to receive decent care and you’re treated like pure trash! The staff is horrible and all black, even though I’ve always gotten along well with blacks...for some reason in this setting, if your white, you will be treated like pure crap for no reason.
