Dr. Egeland performed surgery on my hand to fix a severe, second degree burn that I had from cooking oil. It was an extremely scary and confusing time for me, because I'd never had a major injury like that before. He was reassuringly confident, knowledgeable, and calm in explaining everything to me. The procedure went well, and you can barely tell that I had sustained second degree burns on my hand.
