I usually avoid giving negative reviews to doctors due to my family background in the medical field. However, I feel compelled to share my recent unsatisfactory experience. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment to sort out new insurance details, and I informed the receptionist of my tight schedule due to an important work meeting. Thought he was great and staff was all super friendly. He was very helpful. Would recommend!
Didn’t even get my appointment. Arrived to the location and after entering the front door, the sign outside where the office was supposed to be said to go around the building. I am disabled and in a wheelchair and this made me late. Once I got there they told me the doctor couldn’t see me because I was late after failing to mention beforehand that there are extra steps to enter the office.
Update: 11-09-2320 Dr. Tabor called me at 6PM today while I was at Dinner. Dr. Tabor proceeded to explain that during the more than 5 weeks since my appointment, he was on vacation and had the unfortunate luck of experiencing deaths in both he and his Spouse’s close family. While I am humbly reminded that others can experience unforeseen challenges, I must stand behind my initial review. I visited Dr. Tabor because of some bad runner's toe I got from training for a marathon. The toenails needed to be treated but the care I received was horrible from beginning to end. I waited an hour to be seen after leaving work early making the visit rushed because it was past 5. He inspected my foot and immediately said that I was not meant to run because of my toes and tried to sell me on expensive inserts, not all minding how hurtful that is to hear and swallow in the middle of marathon training.
