I have avoided going to a hair salon for years since I couldn't find any that tailored to my specific hair. I saw that Brenda has experience with curly hair, so I booked an appointment. Everything about my experience here was perfect. Brenda and her daughter were so kind and welcoming, they made me feel like family. Waited almost 6 months to leave this review hoping once it grows out I’d appreciate her method more. However this isn’t my experience . I have thick , highly textured hair. I asked for some thickness to be taken off the sides and without explaining she went in with the thinning shears. Anyone with this texture hair knows it will grow in uneven and be challenging to manage. . At one point sending my concern she responded “ it’s just hair “.
