I had stage 4 thyroid cancer and he did my right neck dissection to remove the cancerous parts. He saved my life!! I had no facial paralysis, just some mild numbing on my neck area. The surgery was in 2013 and I was cleared for cancer in 2023. My ENT, Dr McCallum, did all the follow ups, and tests, those 10 year to assure it didnt come back. Fantastic. Saw two family docs and two other specialist physicians over one year for a single constantly worsening issue in my right ear. None of them figured it out. Dr. Gaylis scoped my ear and in about two minutes diagnosed the issue, and within 10 minutes had cured it with a quick procedure. More than a year of pain, worry and diminishing quality of life resolved in minutes thanks to his medical and listening skills, attention to detail, and skillful handiwork.

Saved my life about 10 years ago stage 4 cancer in my lower gums, 12 hour surgery up at Scripps Green, cutting lower jaw bone in half throwing it away with the cancerous teeth roots and custom made a titanium bar reinforcing jaw and removed all 44 cancerous lymuth nodes 10 years ago, no new cancer and doing fine. Amazing, the dentist i went to said Dr Gaylis is about the only Dr that could save me and he did. Very nice fellow. I am very thankful for his skills and treatment. Faithfully Lance H.
