I just got this "this not a bill" notice in the mail from Oak Street Health about a procedure I didn't want in the first place. It cost $423 and the portion that I could owe my provider... It is true; these people like to run excessive tests and bill the patients' insurance companies. I had an appointment for later, but I'm not going there anymore.
