My ex-husband’s idea of joint custody was to bully me until I agreed with him or, if I did not, file petitions against me in Family Court. I had two attorneys before I hired Rona. Not only did she work to get the most current petition dismissed but she worked with my ex’s attorney to get him to understand what joint custody is. She really delivered on her web site’s promise of stopping the fighting.

I hired Rona three years ago while in the midst of a custody battle with my now ex-wife. As a father no one took my desire for custody of my kids seriously, most importantly the judge. I retained Rona seven years after I signed my mediated divorce agreement, when I needed to enforce certain provisions. She spent the time to explain to me provisions of the agreement I did not understand and carefully explained to me what she would do for me. She was able to quickly resolve my case and get me the money my ex owed me. She always picked up the phone when I called if she was in the office. If she was not in the office, she always called me back within one day. I definitely recommend her.

Hiring Rona Gura was truly the worst experience of my life. Hiring Rona Gura was worse than the divorce itself, by far. Do yourself a favor, at $400 an hour do your HW and look into attorney's. Read reviews on them, although most people are afraid to say anything bad about attorneys in fear of being sued. If you find one bad review that should be enough to say, my $400 an hour can be better spent elsewhere. "BREITER AND GURA" is the WORST MATRIMONIAL Law Firm on LI. Between Ken, Merideth, and the most incompetent attorney on LI, Rona Gura, this firm should be disbarred! Many TENS of THOUSANDS of dollars will be wasted, that I can guarantee from experience. Since my divorce is almost over, my ex-wife has told me that her attorney used to hang up with Rona only to tell my ex what an incompetent attorney she was and laugh hysterically! RUN!!!
