best thai food in nyc – man this place is great. I found this restaurant on citysearch and used the offer for the $20 sangria pitchers. the food is fantastic and the staff is so helpful. its not a huge restaurant but its ambience in great. I had the chicken pad thai its honestly some of the best pad thai I've ever tasted. if you go to breeze get the sangria pitchers its soooooo worth it! they really are the best thai restaurant in nyc
ok place not the best but palatable
Delicious! – I stopped here for lunch and was very impressed with the food. I ordered the Pad Thai noodles. It was fantastic!! My husband had a miso soup with tofu and a cashew chicken dish. They both had amazing flavor without all the salty taste I'm used to with these types of dishes! The decor is cool and simplistic (Ikea-style). I will definitely be back!!
Not so impressive Sandwiches – Ordered their lunch special Southeast Asian Sandwich with Flank Steak. I had high hope really. It turned out to be a bit disappointing. The steak is a little dry and the sandwich really lacks flavor. I added on the green mayo that comes with it as well as some marinated pickle onion but that doesn't help the situation. I guess maybe their other dishes will be better?
So good you don't know it's fake. This is one of the many thai restaurants on 9th Ave between 45th and 55th streets.
So good you don't know it's fake. This is one of the many thai restaurants on 9th Ave between 45th and 55th streets. It it purportedly thai-french fusion. It was definitely cheap, between 7-11 dollars for an entree. The interior is of the typical bright orange plasticy variety. The cups and flatwear are from ikea and say so on the bottoms. Quirky that they didn't go to a restaurant supply store. My friend ordered the fake duck and she loved it. Two weeks later she said it was the best duck she ever had. I told her it was tof... read more
Amazing, tasty, cheap – Another great Thai place in Hells Kitchen. This place is trendy and delicious. I could go here everyday!
reading all these reviews makes me wonder what all the fuss is about. i went to breeze twice and i loved it both times. the wait staff was incredibly friendly and everything i ordered was delicious. i don't know if the people that wrote these bad reviews like thai food or if they are some kind of undercover restaurant connoisseurs, but their reviews are just plain wrong. when i went, i sampled the thai spring rolls and the crab and ripe mango summer rolls. both were delicious. i also had the seafood in banana cup, which is a... read more
Absolutely terrible – Breeze may possibly be my most hated NYC restaurant experience ever. I used to live a couple blocks away and watched many restaurants move in the neighborhood, go out of business, and be replaced with another in a few days, and I always marveled at the fact that Breeze somehow survived. The place tries to charm you inside with its trendy/hip appearance, but when you enter you can see the decor is absolutely gaudy and generic (you can easily see that every piece of lighting, decoration, even their silver... read more
