Quiet, relaxing place to live These apartments are duplexes so there is no one above or below you. You have your own door with own back patio for privacy. Instead of apartment, they are more like your own little house. The inside of the apartments are great! They do not resemble your typical college apartment or dorm. They are 2 bedroom, with spacious living room and kitchen. They are in very good shape, especially the newer ones that were built about 5-6 years ago I think. Excellent apartment. Very private. The landlord was considerate and quick to respond to needs of tenants. When my wife and I were looking for apartments it was difficult to find any that allowed for pets and were quiet. This met both criteria and it is close to campus. Also close to GIant City Park. Great experience.
great price-great place – The law school department at S.I.U. has Breckenridge Apartments listed and recommended them . They are in a very good location and not far from the Saluki arena.There are some very large apartments across the street which have very large rents. Breckenridge is very reasonable at 525.00 or 262.50 per person for a two bedroom duplex . Also it is a very quiet atmosphere here which is hard to find in Carbondale.
