The help, knowledge, support, and kindness I received from the staff was just what I needed at the hardest part of my breastfeeding journey! They provided me with the physical and emotional help Iso desperately needed those first days home! On the very 1st visit they identified that my daughter had a tongue tie and without too much fuss, were able to have it snipped and aid in the process of her learning to use her tongue to latch properly. Firstly, I didn’t know that this was part of the initial newborn appt or that it was being completely set up while we were still in the hospital. I walked in feeling so defeated today after only 3 days postpartum. Everyone slowed down and let me express my feelings. They ensured that I was set up for success on this journey as well as taught my husband how he can support me. Each visit has been so thorough and never once felt rushed. They answered every question I had and educated me on so much during our visit. They celebrated baby's growth and progress just as much as me and his dad were celebrating. Love this group so much already!
The staff at Parkside is so kind and compassionate! I was there 2 and 4 days postpartum and I am beyond grateful that we got to get help with nursing so soon into our journey. It’s made all the difference - I am thankful that this is automatically a part of the first newborn appointments and I think had made all the difference. The lactation consultant who worked with us was patient, gentle, and encouraging. This new mama is thankful we are at Parkside!
