Referred by GP , to this amazing unit , on finding a suspicious breast lump , which turned out to be a small cancer . Less than a month later, as a result of excellent surgery and care, I am cancer free. The north east is so lucky to have this unit.
What a fantastic service. Went to Hadrian Square Byker Scanning Unit. The girls were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and Amy especially very professional and put you at ease throughout!! What a privilege it is to have this great NHS service!! And the people who run these important clinics. Well Done everyone 🙂
Attended R V I breast clinic today. My mam 85 year old was referred because of lump in her breast. Staff were brilliant with her caring and understanding as she has dementia. Everything was ok nothing abnormal just scar tissue from previous operation for breast cancer. Can't thank staff enough for their patience and understanding with Mam
