Due breast screen. Been 3 years since last one.. phone line does not have anyone “manning” it and no answer phone facility to leave any message. I’ve sent many emails over the past 3 months inc details of being available for any appointment except a small list of dates over the next 3 month period. As usual NHS don’t like to work after 4.30 pm (on website page which includes non manned phone number). I cannot wait for this service to be moved into private sector!!!!!! Took my partner there today, lovely place, but please leave plenty of time as parking is near impossible anywhere within and outsite of area. As a first timer, i ended up parking in a residential area, so expect a ticket.Now i know there is a 20 mins drop off, so best to leave partner and pick up later
Amazing service - so fast and unbelievably friendly and reassuring. As someone else said, every person manages to make a really stressful experience so much easier.
I just wanted to say what a positive experience I had on Wednesday, it was my first screening (now I have reached that age) and I cant praise the young lady that looked after me with my appointment highly enough! She was extremely polite and patient with me (and was able to put up with me and my terrible nervous jokes and comments lol) and above all she was extremely professional and kind and made an experience I was dreading that much easier. Excellent care from start to finish. Was seen, investigated and out of the clinic within 40 minutes. Everything explained fully with care and compassion. After recently had a poor unrelated NHS experience, my fairh was restored by these dedicated, lovely staff. Thank you x
