Best breakfast ever! Wish I knew the secret to their amazing pancakes and waffles
I'm a long time fan of Bread & Co. I was a daily patron of the old Belle Meade store. I was so disappointed when it closed. I don't get to the West End location very often but when I do I love to stop in. I have become obsessed with their waffle. It is so light and the berry compote is a yummy topping. The staff is always friendly and I have to give a big shout out to Paul! He's a great cook. My only "con" is the parking at West End. There's no easy way to say it, it just sucks. Please consider a location in Bellevue.
Special shout out to the very sweet cashier I had yesterday. He was so friendly and had a big smile on his face. He listened as I told him about my stressful month of health problems and a death in my family. I appreciated the kindness. I'm sorry I didnt get his name but he was up front by the cookies during lunch. Thank you so much and God bless him too!!!!!!
The multigrain bread is great, as is the curried chicken salad. The lox bagel was unwieldy to eat but tasty once I conquered it, ha-ha.
Attempted going to both the West End and Hillsboro locations three days in a row and all three days both locations were closed with no sign giving reason. On the fourth day I was assured by someone working in the closed Hillsboro location that the West End location is open only to drive over and see it was once again closed. Done.
I have had countless lunches with reading, planning, and studying days at the Belle Meade location. I can't believe it's now closed! I'm grieving.
