Our office has been ordering lunch from our friends at Bread & Chocolate for several days a week since they opened. Not only is there excellent value for your money, but the quality of the food is good -- always fresh; the specials are yummy and different; the service is extraordinary; and their bread us unparalleled. You can't go wrong eating here!
Bread and Chocolate has the best sandwiches, soups, and salads in the New Haven area. Reasonably priced (most lunch items are around $6), generous portions, and very fresh (you won't find a can opener there). I have been eating lunch there at least twice a week for more than a year now.
The food here is outstanding--fresh, healthy and TASTY! There is a full lunch menu with daily specials and everything in delicious. The owners create a friendly feeling and you'll be a 'regular' in no time!
