A Disgraceful Experience – Following a very unfortunate experience at a restaurant called Bread, on Spring Street and Elizabeth. I was in on Thursday night with 2 friends. We sat at our table following the payment of our bill for about 20 minutes nursing our bottle of wine. The host at the restaurant approached us, asking us to leave and he then quickly walked away. As I thought that action was quite inappropriate and rude, I approached to host and spoke my mind, saying that I just spent $200 dollars and it is not the right ... read more
Bad Manners!!!!!! – Last night myself and 2 friends of mine had dinner at this place. We were having a great time until we were rudely told by the hostess to leave because our table was needed. There was no sincerity about this, he came over and bluntly said we need your table and you have to leave. With that being said, my girlfriend follows him to the back area and explains that what he just did was so very in appropriate. He turns around pokes her shoulder and in "italian" tell her F*K You! Are you gagging yet!!! because ... read more
Great space & a good selection – This place was a nice late night spot to get a quick dinner. The staff wasn't too attentive, but they did provide for some of the best mixed drinks around! The organic tomato soup was tremendous, as was the salad. A nice desert tray complimented an outstanding cup of coffee as well!! A must for a late night feast!
Great atmosphere, good service, even on Friday night – I was looking for a nice Italian place for a dinner for two for a Friday night, and remembered what great lunches I had at Bread. After reading reviews, though, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get in or that the service would be terrible. Neither of these were true. we walked in at 8:20 and were seated immediately. It was active, but not crowded. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest person, but she was helpful when choosing what to order and was attentive throughout t... read more
GREAT SERVICE – I really liked this place the food was great and the vibe fun and relaxed...the service was great considering the casual place and how busy the place get....my waiter was really nice and went out of his way to make sure we will have a great night....I lhighly raccomendt his place.
Try hard – This place does make the best sandwiches, but and its a big but, the italian host guy is a prat. Try not to take yourself so serious its only a sandwich bar, you are a classic soho try hard. Great sandwich though.
A word-of-mouth Nolita gem for simply delicious Italian and a cool, intimate scene. – At night, candles glow against this restaurant's silvery interior like pools of moonlight. A metallic bar and burnished open kitchen contrast the white-washed brick walls hung with local art, and ethereal indie music enhances the intimate mood. It won't be the cool and kindly servers who rush you out--it will be the other pretty patrons standing by in cramped quarters who are eyeing your meal's progress. Though the name refers to goods proc... read more

Terrible Place..Terrible Sandwiches..Up their own @SS Staff..Nust another NoLita Yupster place.. – Im going to stop referring to restaurants in Nolita as Restaurants all they seem to be lately are Social Hangouts with terrible portions and overpriced food with a good name for no reason.I have lived here for over a year and spend all my time going to other hoods for dinner. Aside from Habana and Maybe 24 Prince they are all the same. From Ruby's to Bread. Chock full of People who think they are New Yorkers without the slightes... read more
