Bravo Volunteer Ambulance Service is better run than almost all other volunteer EMS agencies in NYC. Wonderful retro-green uniform. Great location full of restaurants and shopping, a low-medium call volume area.
Bay Ridge Ambulance Volunteer Organization (BRAVO) is an organization that is well supported my it's community both monetarily and manpower in the completion of its mission. I was a charter member of BRAVO and it showed me the direction my life would take, I worked for the New York City Emergency Medical Service for 21 years until I was severely injured at the World Trade Center collapse.
