Dr. Baler is a kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional doctor. I have been his patient for a long time, maybe decades. Through the years, his staff has been unfriendly, cold and unprofessional. It's like they go out of their way to make things more difficult then they are, like scheduling an appointment, filling a prescription, explaining a medical or payment procedure, etc. They have never been capable of even saying hello when you enter the office, or say a kind word when you leave after a procedure. She has been my kids pediatrician for 9 years now.
I misplaced my vaccination card, and have been trying to contact this office for several weeks now to issue me a new one. (Which takes a matter of a few seconds to write the date on a card). After multiple calls, and promises to call me back, they have yet to return my call. I've contacted the department of health to make them aware, since this is absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend Dr. Pesek. She performed a mastectomy on my left breast and refused to listen when I told her I was having bloody discharge from my right breast. She told me it was not cancer and I irritated it which made it bleed. Turns out she was wrong. I recently had two surgeries on my right breast from a very intelligent compassionate surgeon from Sloan Kettering, who took the time to listen and examine me. Excellent! Explains procedures and surgery. Thorough, caring and the qualities that you want in a physician.
Takes months to get an appointment . Dr.Cullen does a great job but not every situation is “cosmetic “ and can wait several months.
Dr. Cruz is always very lovely. Very kind and patient and will answer all your questions.
Met with her today and she and her nurse navigator were more than an A+ . I had my aunt on speakerphone and Dr. Pesek answered every question and also spoke to my medical oncologist. She is top notch and very knowledgeable.
