This place is absolutely vile. And I’m not talking about the mentally ill and the disgruntled people and patients there getting help. I’m talking about the staff. From (most likely) top to bottom. Absolutely the WORST type of people I’ve ever encountered that work and speak for Brattleboro Retreat. Insanely rude , condescending, far from understanding human beings. I went there and the staff does nothing when you need help and they lied about my release date numerous time and they are very strict and the treatment is just a bunch of pills and nothing else. The groups ARE NOT beneficial for anyone. And there are many people there who are very rude and disrespectful towards everyone and the experience was not good at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND sending you or your peers there!
