Diversified menu with daily specials. They’re known for crab cakes. Outdoor dining. Burgers are good. They have a killer shrimp salad sandwich with HUGE Jumbo shrimp. Will return next year!
Not gluten free friendly. Mostly fried food
This place is the best after a rude waitress at a nearby restaurant said we couldn’t sit by the balcony at another Restaurant .... we left and walked to the Bass Monkey so glad we did !! Food is great , One of the best waitresses we ever had she was on top of everything and the Restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly! Oh and their crab cakes are the best ! We will be back ! This is by far the best Restaurant I have eight out here on the West Coast since moving here :)

The first time The Brass Monkey was recommended to us, we read many of the reviews that have been posted. All we can say is that year after year, and at different times when we have been on the gulf coast, this place is always a "have to visit" place! Balcony, Beach, and Relaxing Fun! You can walk across the road and access the beach, walk on the sand, then head back to watch the sunset from the balcony! Pass-a-Grille is a pretty area, and the drive is easy!
