Bad food, even WORSE service! The food is not good...you will pay $15-20 for a steak dinner and the steak will be overcooked, the salad bar isn't fresh, and the baked potato was just gross and had a weird film on top. It tasted and looked like it came from the microwave. Aside from the bad food, the service wasn't good either. Our server was "nice" but we ran out of drinks several times. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere – My family and I have stopped in at the Brass Lantern on 2-3 different times. The first time we stopped we didn't know anything about the restaraunt but we were hungry. We were pleasantly surprised in the taste of the food and the wonderful service that we recieved. Tourist trap, in the middle of nowhere, better to wait – The sign looks good. The parking lot was full of high end cars, and I wondered where all the customers live. Then I realized we were flies caught in their web; a very pleasant web. Clean, roomy, romantic, not too dark, not too loud, and the staff were excellent. The food on the other hand is below average.
