Most incompetent and shady landlord I have ever dealt with: - Upon renewing my lease, the landlord accused me of having a pet (despite not entering my apartment once) and tried raising my rent. -There is a major bug problem and I do not believe the landlord has entered my unit once to conduct routine exterminations. I say this because when I asked him he never responded. In the Google reviews he states that exterminations are done quarterly. I've been living at Brandywine Garden Apartments for 12 years never had an issue. Things happen it's an old building but they keep up on their maintenance I love it here.
This complex is DISGUSTING. Lived there alone as a single female and was scared to walk into my apartment at night. There were a group of men in a van that would park next to me and sit in their van at night and get drunk and leave their beer bottles on my car. The landlord is pathetic for charging 1000+ for him to do nothing about the smell of that place, the maget issue they have, and the mold they have growing in the walls.
