I saw Dr. Pongia at Limerick office for my toe pain on 8/11. An X-Ray was done which showed no fractures on the bones. Without ordering any MRI and determining the cause of the pain, he gave me a cortisone shot. That shot eased the pain for only 4 weeks. I saw another podiatrist who ordered MRI, the results came back showing a plantar plate tear which caused the pain on my toe.
